New way to see the mites

Have you ever seen a family member or friend sneezing constantly? It is often a passing signal of mites around. These animals of the spider group, in addition to boring man, are harmful to livestock, domestic animals and other species.
The researchers of the Agricultural Research Service use a specific electronic microscope for the detection of this animal of smaller size than the dust, which consists of throwing to each mite a layer of electrons that bounces and record such information. The result of all this is collected in a visible image through the screen. They add to the image ‘artificial’ colors to make it more visible. There you have the example!
If you ever want to see an mite in three dimensions, take the scissors and click this direction.
