In some states of the Earth television communication towers are increasingly numerous. In the United States there are 45,000 towers over 60 meters high, with 400 meters high. Birds in migration tend to go into the light of these towers and die many times with the tower. Especially at night and with closed fog is where more birds die. It dies between 4 and 40 million birds a year.
The Fish and Wildlife Service indicates that in order to cope with this situation it is necessary to limit the height of the towers, avoid retaining wiring and provide luminaires that are switched on and off frequently variable. On the other hand, they think it would be very useful to analyze what kind of light attracts birds.
