Physicists at Yale University in the United States have managed to move things with light. They have to be very small things, things of nanoscopic size, and for this you have to use a very concentrated light. In fact, the key is that; when the photons of light collide against an object, they transmit to the object a small force that is too small to move most things, but that if the rays (photons) are concentrated it is able to provoke tiny.
According to Yale physicists, they have reached enough strength to move small fragments of electric semiconductors, so this technique could be applied to the nanoelectronics industry. In addition, at this size level, light can produce other special effects if resonance is obtained with objects. In some cases, objects can be taken physically and moved to the desired location by laser beams.
