Blue eggs, why?

Some bird species eggs are blue and biologists have wanted to know why. That is, they wanted to know what that color means. It seems that the blue color has to do with the amount of antibodies of the mother; the more intense the blue, the more antibodies the eggs contain and, therefore, the more possibilities it has to advance.
