In these years, eye surgery has experienced a major breakthrough. One of the areas that has been advanced has been the intraocular lens area (LBL). The BBL is applied to people who have a daring through a brief surgical procedure. This disease is suffered by older people and blind people. When the BBL is placed the visual recovery is almost total.

The recent progress that has occurred in the area of the BBL, consists of soft siliconized rubber lenses. These lenses have been designed to cause the least trauma to the eye and are expected to replace rigid lenses until now in a few years.
