Some physicists of the NIST institute have produced a chemical reaction at a temperature of 500 nanocelvines, i.e. almost zero absolutes. The aim of this experiment was to eliminate the contribution of thermal energy to reaction and see simple quantum effects. A molecule made up of two atoms of rubidium has been in charge of reacting with another made up of two atoms of potassium to give two molecules containing blond and potassium. But this has only happened in cases where the rules of quantum physics allow it; since the molecules of KRb are fermions, those that are generated must be in different quantum states.
