Our environment
CD-ROM (6-12 years)

This CD-ROM has been developed jointly by the pedagogical service IKAS and the Elhuyar Foundation. Aimed at young people between 6 and 12 years old, it is intended to offer the possibility to know their closest environment through games and in Basque. For this purpose different strategies have been used, combining explanations with games.

In the multimedia presentations of this CD-ROM, kids will have to search for information on more than one screen and will be able to view, listen and print that information. Through the games they will learn to identify poultry, rivers and trees of Euskal Herria.

This CD-ROM covers topics such as the water cycle in nature and at home, water treatment, the rivers of Euskal Herria, the main trees and forests of Euskal Herria, the seasons and photosynthesis, the migration of birds, birds around our homes, recycling, etc.

CD-ROM (6-12 years)

This CD-ROM from Ediciones Elhuyar is a tool to help children to come up with stories. Their goal is to write what they want and have fun in it, and it will serve them not only to work the imagination but also to awaken the desire to write.

In addition to writing stories, you can complete them with images, so you can select and use different elements (scenarios, characters, objects, etc. ). Or on the contrary, through drawings and images, the story can be completed and the text can help.

As it is also a tool to work the language, written elements will work almost without realizing: lexicon, syntax, grammar, spelling... To do this, they will have various aids: aids to organize the structure of the stories, models to write crossed stories, bertsos and letters, spell checker, general aids in video, possibility to print and save stories, etc.
