The Korean company Daewoo announced last March to the Basque Government that it will continue with the construction of the refrigeration factory in Vitoria.

Despite the fact that the European Commission considered that the subsidies received by the Korean company were illegal, the president of the promoter Demesa, the representative of Min-Woong Lee Daewoo and the Industry, Iñaki Telletxea, decided to move forward with the company at the meeting held. Iñaki Telletxea explained to the representatives of the companies his intention to appeal the decision adopted by the European Commission.
