Dioxins that have become so popular with us in a few months due to incineration facilities are news these days. According to researchers at Ehime University in Japan, the dangerous carcinogenic dioxin can be destroyed by a fungus.

The original place of residence of this fungus is the pruned wood. Recently, Japanese researchers discover that they have a fondness for “eating” dioxin.

For 15 days they have had the fungus surrounded by dioxins and have observed that it has managed to break down 85%. Now researchers are trying to be more efficient.
