In Colorado, the United States, of an insectivorous mammal, the size of a rat, which lived 150 million years ago, has been found. This mammal belongs to a species hitherto unknown, known as Fruitafossor windscheffelia, in the name of the place of discovery and discoverer. Both in the extremities and in the teeth, it resembles the current termite species, but not their ancestors.
