Organized by the UEU Department of Natural Sciences, II. The meeting will take place on 28 and 29 November 2015 in Donostia.
According to the organization, the meetings offer the possibility of “showing to others the work that each one performs and knowing the work that others perform”. Among other topics, there will be talks on topics of direct influence on the nature and science of the Basque Country, in which groups, associations and institutions will show posters and there will be a round table.
The round table, entitled "Media in science, science in the media", will feature the participation of the director of Teknopolis and member of Elhuyar Zientzia, Bego Zubia, Urko Aristi, Miren Bego Urrutia and Jakoba Errekondo. The roundtable will discuss the relationship between science and the media and seek answers to questions such as how appropriate is the part of the programming offered by public media to science; whether media personnel have sufficient basis to publicize scientific information; whether scientists are able to socialize their work in a way that people understand and value...
The meeting will conclude with an award ceremony that Elhuyar magazine will offer. In addition, Elhuyar Zientzia products will be available during the Meeting.
