In the Formula 1 race of the British Grand Prix, the house of the Mcla received the support of the European Space Agency (ESA). In particular, ESA has participated in the design of the mechanics' work locker together with the Italian manufacturer Karada and the designer Hugo Boss.

The idea was that the mechanics' garments were as safe as those of motorists. A fire protection and temperature regulation system was necessary for this. The solution has been the placement of 50 m 2 mm wide tube in the working wardrobe. Thus, like astronauts, work clothes carry a refrigeration circuit controlled by a mini-fridge. They say the suit is very comfortable and safe.
