Finnish garbage

In Finland it is estimated that there are 180,000 lakes and 338,000 km2 of forests, but they do not want garbage to be taken. Instead of burning domestic trash (they say it's too expensive) they prefer to collect the components separately. 90% of glass and metal packaging is deposited in special containers and collected monthly. Organic waste is collected every two months and taken to the fertilizer processing plant.
Corenso collects 10% of the cartons of fruit and milk juices to make cardboard rolls with paper fiber. After the last quarter of 1995 20,000 tons of tetrabriks have been recycled. In addition, 60% of the paper used in Finland is recycled and it seems surprising that it is the first European manufacturer.
