Livers prefer the new fat

For the healthy mechanism of fats, the use of new fats, whether foodstuffs or produced in the liver is considered necessary. According to a study by the University of Washington (USA), the ‘old’ fats accumulated in the body do not follow the same metabolism: they do not activate sugar production.
To carry out the research, genetically modified mice were used, whose liver did not produce fat, so the diet was the only new fat that contained the body. Thus, if fat is ingested in the diet, they had no problems. But when they put a fat free diet, the liver began to use fat accumulated in the body, but the researchers found surprised that fat was accumulated in the liver and that they had hypoglycemia in blood. It seems that in these mice the mechanism of regulation of the blood sugar level was not activated.
