In the prehistoric site of Hallan Cemi, southeast of Turkey, a group of archaeologists expected to find wheat, cereals, sheep and goats. But they have not found it. Wet boars have been found instead. The size of the teeth has reported that they were raised pigs. Analyzing the remains of the site, it is clear that the man of the time appreciated the male puppies to eat. The residues vary between 10,400 and 10,000 years ago and it seems that the meat to eat from the livestock was first given by the pig.
So far it was thought that the goat was the first raw species (9,500 years ago in the Middle East), but this discovery has changed things. At least 12,000 years ago the wolf was formed and the dog became friend of the man. It seems that in some civilizations the dog ate, but that was very rare. For its part, the sheep was raised in the Middle East 8,500 years ago and the cow 8,000 years ago.
The cat, meanwhile, grew up in Cyprus 8,000 years ago and the horse 5,800 years ago around the Black Sea. The donkey, meanwhile, was raised 5,000 years ago in Mesopotamia and the Nile River Delta.
