The stars have a maximum size. The latest calculations indicate that it is impossible for the mass to be between 120 and 150 times greater than the Sun. At the beginning of the last century, astronomer Arthur Eddington proposed a theory to explain that stars could have the maximum mass, but subsequent observations seemed to be wrong. Now astronomers have to be right. The analysis of the Arches star set comes to this conclusion.
