Satellite Aqua: Earth water from the sky

NASA orbits another satellite 705 km from Earth.

It is called Aqua and its function is related to the name. In fact, it will include changes in rainfall, evaporation, ocean circulation and clouds. All this, together with data collected by the Terra satellite, launched in 1999, will help to understand the water cycle on Earth.

According to NASA, the influence of climate change on the ecosystem will be improved and appropriate measures can be taken to prevent the situation from worsening.
