Hubble, the old renovated

A team of seven astronauts has been responsible for repairing the Hubble Space Telescope. Among other things, the batteries have been renewed, the orientation sensors have been modified to properly fix the visual field using images and covers have been placed to protect the electronic components.

For this purpose, astronauts have made five attempts, that is, they have gone out five times into space. Thus, other years have left in a position to work the space telescope launched in 1990. If there were no repairs, Hubble would have deteriorated by 2010-2011. Now, it has extended its useful life to at least 2014.
