Printers prevent breakdowns

Current printers do so by printing texts and images. In black and white, color, texts, images… And when the ink or paper is finished, they warn both on the printer screen and on the computer. From now on the printers themselves will also warn us of failures. That's what Xerox says at least.
On the other hand, so far, we analyze the existence or not of machines that perform self-diagnosis, the existence of some failure or the correction of the failure, etc. That is, they analyze signs that do or not.
However, with the new printers, compared to the new situations of the parts at all times, it would be possible to know the degree of aging of the parts and, therefore, the state of the breakdown.
How to get it? The machine itself will continuously measure the vibration, noise and weight of its parts, analyze the waves produced by them and compare them with the ones it had just rolled, as well as the vibration, noise and weight of the parts when they are about to be broken. In this way, the machine can know the condition of the parts by comparing the starting and final data with the current ones.
Something similar is already done in other larger machines, especially to separate the parts that had to be repaired and changed, but gradually incorporate this type of systems to smaller and smaller machines.
And if the printer called only the technician's office, they would appear before the breakdown to perform the repair.
