Clothes with mobile images

The French company France Telecom has just presented the prototype of a lightweight fiber optic screen incorporated into clothes. In this monitor full of clothes you can see texts, logos or images loaded from Internet, fixed or mobile computers. For this purpose, a light controller stored in a clothing corner will offer the user a list of images or texts memorized in the garment.

This new type of clothing, in addition to being directed to the fashion world, is
aimed at security personnel, such as firefighters, advertising, automotive or interior decoration.

People wearing dresses in this type of clothing
can offer instant images around them thanks to their screen.

Looking ahead, the alliance that takes care of textile and optical issues is working on the integration of high-definition fiber screens into everyday objects (bags, diapers, furniture...).
