Scientists have concluded that 22,000 years ago men moved barley and wheat, analyzing the starch remains of a stone discovered in Israel.
The oldest traces of cereal cultivation so far are 12,000 years ago and were discovered in the Middle East. However, they found no clues about how and when cereal grains were used.
This Israeli stone, located on the shore of Galilee, under the sediments of the Upper Palaeolithic, is clearly ground by wheat and barley for better use of food. The cultivation of these cereals did not begin until 10,000 years, while they were able to take advantage of what nature gave them. According to scientists, cereal flour may have been cooked.
It seems that research has served to understand the behaviors and customs of human beings of the time.
