There are few more beautiful pleasures than walking on the mountain on sunny day and under the blue sky. But unfortunately the mountaineers have a difficult problem to solve, at least if they do not have to take too much weight to the back, that is, eat cold during meals. This has a solution: self-heating canning boats. These boats are formed by two concentric cylinders.

Inside the inner cylinder there is food and between the two cylinders the heating system. The heating system consists of water and lime. Water and lime are separated by a membrane. When the membrane breaks, water and lime come together and the heat produced in the exothermic chemical reaction warms the food in the pot.
