Bulb without switching on

Cordless technology requires cables. It is always necessary to connect to the mains, even if it is to charge the battery. But that can change. A MIT team lights a 60 watt bulb without connecting to the mains.
The transmission of electricity without cables implies the realization of a field or electric wave. But it is not easy, if you use an electric field, it should be very large and if you use a wave, you should overcome many obstacles.
The solution has come from the hand of another idea: resonance transmission. The electrical resonance has been produced in two copper coils, one connected to the electrical grid and one induced by the current. The intermediate obstacles do not affect the resonance so they have not had problems lighting a bulb connected to the second coil. Finally they have generated electricity two meters from the grid. It is possible that one day batteries with wireless technology can be charged.
