The multinational Philips has selected two works by four students from the School of Architecture of the University of Navarra for possible future release: Moving round tables (Mobile round tables) by Mikel Igaralde and José Sobrador, and Modular Lighting by Iñaki Esteban and Joseba Garraza. Both works are based on the concept of flexible lighting, generating an atmosphere suitable for the motivation of the person.
The furniture for bars and restaurants has been presented in Mobile Circular Tables. As the name suggests, mobile tables have been developed with luminaires based on LED technology. Students are currently developing an element that connects the luminaire and the table. This element will allow you to adjust the height of the table to the circumstances of the moment. This way you can eat sitting or standing at that table. In addition, you can raise the table up to leave free spaces. This option can be very useful, for example, during nights for bars.
Modular Ligthing proposes a brick with light (it is a piece of glass). With this brick you can make multiple combinations: seats, shelves... Its main advantage is that it has no design limits.
