In the first garden there were figs

Israeli archaeologists have discovered fossil figs in the Jordan Valley. Their condition is very good and archaeologists have concluded that they were donated by man-planted pianos.

In addition, fossils have been dated and estimated to be 11,400 to 11,200 years ago. Scientists did not expect it, as they believed that pianos had been domesticated some 6,500 years ago. Now these figs seem to be the first remnants of agriculture, an honor that so far had cereals, but they are about a thousand years before the traces of older domestic cereals they have found.

The research has been published in the scientific journal Science and Y. Langsam has taken the top photo with the electron microscope.
