Tomorrow, February 3, astronauts from the ISS space station will throw an old suit through the station window. There is already little trash and in space! They don't get stuck somewhere in the station, or they get a sleeve, I don't know which tube, and everything is going to rock.
The intention of the astronauts, however, is not to disrupt the old suit. Astronauts are serious people who carry out serious projects. Therefore, they say that throwing the old astronaut costume out the window has a serious reason: they will make it a satellite.
Three batteries, a radio transmitter and a temperature sensor have been named SuitSat. Thus, by radio, any person on Earth can receive the signal emitted from the suit. That is, any amateur radio can know the temperature at the top thanks to SuitSat.
With the excuse of the students, NASA has prepared a project for schools to encourage teachers and students to seek the signal. The costume will also broadcast a television image, but NASA does not mean what it is, the school that succeeds will receive an award.
It should be noted that the Russian astronauts had the idea of turning the astronaut suit into satellite
