Although it has had to pass many years, in the end we have been able to know the truth: Marie Curie did not die the radio, but too long exposures to x-rays. Although mere knowledge does not solve anything, it has been possible to confirm the beliefs of a group of French researchers.

We know that the French physicist Marie Sklodowska died in 1934 after spending much of his life studying the radioactivity of certain elements. From the beginning it was assumed that the cause of death was radio, but the team of researchers did not share the same opinion.

After analyzing Marie's body, it was confirmed that there were radio remains in her bones, but no amount was detected that could kill anyone. Later studies have shown that the first woman to receive a Nobel prize was killed by prolonged exposure to X-rays.
