2009/05/14 Kortabitarte Egiguren, Irati - Elhuyar Zientzia
German archaeologists have discovered the oldest known human sculpture: a 35,000 year old Venus.
The sculpture, six centimeters long, has been found in the cave of Hohle Fels, in the German province of Swabia. A woman is characterized by having disproportionate breasts and bulges, belly and big English.
It is the first time they find a sculpture in the form of a prehistoric man. So far, only small sculptures of animals of this time appear.
