Young Navarros will exhibit 42 STEM projects in Baluarte, ‘Elhuyar Zientzia Azoka / Nafarroa Teknociencia’

The Elhuyar Zientzia Azoka fair will be held next Saturday, April 22, in Baluarte, the Technoscience fair. The young people of the educational centers of Navarra will have the opportunity to show the projects carried out during the course. The fair will open at 10:00 hours with the presence of authorities and other representatives. Agurtzane Martínez Ortigosa, Director General of Innovation of the Government of Navarra; Javier Armentia Fructuoso, Director of NICDO - Planetario de Pamplona; Marie Heguy Urain, Manager of citizenship projects of the Euroregion; and Jon Abril Olaetxea, General Coordinator of the Elhuyar Foundation will attend.
Throughout the morning, 12 to 18 year olds will show 42 scientific projects carried out during the course. In total, there will be 160 young people, 95 girls and 65 boys.

Elhuyar Zientzia Azoka Navarra Teknociencia’ is a fair organized by the STEM Planeta / NICDO- Planetario de Asturias-Elhuyar Fundazioa with the collaboration of the Government of Navarra and the Euroregion. The main objective of the fair is to make STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) known, develop STEM competencies and transversal competences of young people and offer young people scientific experiences.
High school pupils will share scientific and technological projects with the public, and it is intended to encourage young people to become more active in science and to promote and disseminate scientific culture. It is worth noting the participation of researchers throughout the project, their commitment to bringing the real world of science and technology closer to young people, who have been advisers to youth projects.
Elhuyar Zientzia Azoka is located on the Elhuyar Zientzia Azoka network. Together with today’s fair, the markets of the Xalbador de Cambo College were held on 1 April, and the fairs ‘Elhuyar Zientzia Azoka STEAM Gipuzkoa’ to be held on 6 May in Gipuzkoa, in Tolosa, all included in the Elhuyar Zientzia Azoka Fair, to be held on 4 June.
