Training of Navarra teachers in STEAM education and projects

On 16 December, the Department of Education of Navarra and Elhuyar announced the foundations of STEAM teaching and trained teachers of Technology and Sciences of model D to promote teaching in Basque through projects.

Elhuyar preparers have shown how to boost project teaching and how to introduce theoretical concepts. The objectives of the training are, therefore, to know the STEAM teaching and to contact the Technology and Science teachers working in Basque.

As a complement to this session, the teachers participating in the Elhuyar Science Fair 2020-2021 will offer a telematic tutoring to channel them in projects that can develop and have the support and support of external experts. It is also intended to take the first steps to launch the Technology and Science Fair in Navarra.

Elhuyar Zientzia Azoka won in 2020 the First STEAM Euskadi Prize organized by the Basque Government and Innobasque.
