It is known that as the ozone layer decreases, there is a higher risk of skin cancer, but according to experts from the UN organization, there is also a risk of weakening the immune system.

Margaret Kripke, an immunologist at the University of Texas, says ultraviolet rays affect both humans and animals. In addition, it is indifferent to protect man in the shade or place anti-ultraviolet creams. However, it cannot be deduced that the rays that affect the immune system with what we know so far produce or increase pathologies.

Meanwhile, Dutch researcher Jan Van der Leun says that if the ozone layer decreases by 10%, the number of skin cancers will increase by 26%, which means more than 300,000 cases per year.
