The company ACT, developer and distributor of artificial intelligence products, has presented a new version of the language Prolog for Xilog V2, PCs and compatible. This new version meets the standards. Therefore, the programs created in this version can also work on minicomputers. With more than 200 rules and three versions: for beginners (1.174 F), for development (5.811 F) and professionals (8.183 F)

It is interesting to use artificial intelligence and the most widely used language in the field of PC expert systems. The programs made in Prologs do not follow a sequence but an arboreal structure. In the search for the solution you can start from one branch of the tree or another, warning that the path you have taken is wrong, you can go back and follow another path, the so-called backtring. Therefore, we have studied the possibility of conducting these searches in parallel to reduce process times and we are investigating the creation of microprocessors that accept this parallelism. All this simulates on IBM 3083 and Macintosh Plus.
