For the first time, a group of three quasars is visited by astronomers from the California Institute of Technology. The truth is that this system was already known, but when they found it (in 1989) they thought it was the only quasar, then they saw that they were two and now they have realized that they are three.

The Trio is far from Earth, nine billion light years. Therefore, the trio of quasars they have seen is from the time when the universe was very young.
