“For the moment, the mystery follows”

Findings of gravitational waves. It was impressive: Physics and Engineering were brought together; a lot of accurate calculations had to be done in line with General Relativity, including Astrophysics; and it was an international effort, correlation had to be found between the signals. It seems to me a miracle; for those who are in the project it may not be so much, but for those who are out, from the point of view of coordination, it is an enormous achievement. We have crossed a border, we have passed to another side.
Perhaps because we expect it to be possible, I would like to clarify what dark matter is or find a particle related to dark matter. It would probably be found in some accelerator, as it would be astrophysically difficult.
We still do not know. Galaxies have been discovered that apparently do not contain dark matter, so it would be more important to clarify and know what is in them or if we have to make an adjustment to Einstein's theories... The discovery of this particle would allow us to understand these galaxies. Otherwise, if no particles are found, a broad path of speculation would open up. For the moment, follow the mystery.
