The mission of the Polar Spacecraft satellite launched last year is to better study space meteorology. It is located in the polar orbit to study the electrical phenomena called boreal auroras that take place in the ionosphere and the magnetosphere.

It will closely observe and analyze the magnetic storms produced by the solar wind. In this way we will know better the atmosphere of our planet and this curious phenomenon that causes cuts or increases of tension in radio communications.
