The skeleton of the Tyrannosaurus rex, acquired by the Chicago Museum two years ago, has provided more information about this species. For example, it has been shown that tyrannosaurs had a very good smell, thanks to some traces of olfactory organs found in the skull. Sue's skeleton is the largest in the world and a team of museum researchers has been investigating over the last two years about the skull of the species.

Researchers have studied the skull using a scanner to discover the traces of the olfactory organs of the Tyrannosaurus. According to paleontologist Chris Brochu of the Chicago Museum, tyrannosaurs had more developed feelings than we thought, including sight and smell, for work as predators.
