Among the values mentioned in the Environmental Framework Program of CAPV 2020, environmental values are especially evident in the report of Teknopolis: efficient use of resources, transformation of waste into raw materials, etc.

The award for best work has been for a report on circular economy by Alex Fernandez Morza (“These five products are not bought”). In the written press category, the jury has awarded two awards, one to the article “The world says goodbye to mercury” by Araceli Acosta de Lugo and another, accesit, to the article “China wants to clean the face”, written by Zigor Aldama. Finally, in the radio category, within the program of Radio Euskadi Sunday "More than words", has won a section dedicated to the spaces and sounds of the Natura 2000 Network.

This year the fourth edition of the Euskadi Environmental Journalism Award was held, organized by the Department of Environment of the Basque Government and Ihobe, whose main objective is to recognize the work of journalists and media that promote the culture of sustainability.
