From the images taken by the Cassini probe, astronomers believed that on the Titan moon of Saturn there were oceans, lakes and rivers. In addition, given the concentration of methane in the atmosphere, it was suggested that it could be liquid hydrocarbons. But the idea is half corrupt. Now they have better studied photos and have found a volcano instead of liquid. It seems that these structures have been generated by an eruption and that the origin of atmospheric methane is in the subsoil. The research has been published in the journal Nature.
