The seeds of the trees are not dispersed in the same way, dragged by the wind or eaten by the birds and thrown with the excrement. Some Spanish biologists have analyzed the influence of these two mechanisms on the proliferation of tree species and, according to their conclusions, birds are the best option.

The researchers want to take this characteristic into account in the conservation of the forests that are disappearing, since the proliferation of tree species is almost impossible if in a degrowing forest also disappears species of birds.
