The UPV/EHU will conduct research on the climate of the CAPV

The UPV/EHU and the Department of Transport and Public Works of the Basque Government have recently signed a collaboration agreement on the climate and hydrometeorology of the Autonomous Community. According to the agreement, the Basque Government will allocate 72 million pesetas to the realization of 14 research projects.

Among the projects, we can cite the study and diagnosis of severe meteorological phenomena in the Autonomous Community of the Basque Country, research on the greenhouse effect or the elaboration of a hydrological model of flood prevention in real time in the Basque basins.
