XX. when the century is about to end, the scientific and technical advances made by man make people's lives ever longer. Meeting people approaching a hundred years is not surprising today. However, we are not aware of the findings that have occurred during the lives of these people. There are cinema, radio, television, metro, high-speed train, computer, plastics, molecular biology, nuclear physics, organ transplants, space satellites, man's glare, laser, aviation (from the first small planes to the Concorde), etc.

However, there are many issues that do not dominate. late 20th century. Cancer and AIDS are still there without absolute remedy, brain rheumatism cannot be cured, meteorology is an incipient science…

However, with the intention of clarifying all these deficiencies, the laboratories do not stop working. There is hope of a solution to cancer by embryological way, they are engaged in unraveling the hidden mechanisms of neurons, in creating biological computers with special proteins, in looking for new subatomic particles that allow us to know precisely what our universe is, etc.

Therefore, much remains to be discovered.
